Ludhiana,11 Dec. ( SAT PAL SONI ) : Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School, B.R.S Nagar, Ludhiana organized a Career Counselling Session for Parents of class X . The resource person Mr. Vikramjeet SinghSidhu, Director at Mindway Educational Institute acquainted the parents of the factors responsible and options available for the career choice of their ward after class X . He informed the parents about the various career prospects available in India and abroad. He introduced various new emerging careers and said that every parent must assess their child on five parameters: Aptitude, Personality, Interest, Abilities and Values to be able to make a good career choice.Mrs. ShaminaDeol, the School Counsellor gave tips to the parents to overcome stress, encourage and appreciate their wards in this changing scenario. She said “I believe every child is unique, original and one of his/her kind and is entitled to become a success story and lead a fulfilling life.”
Parents applauded the initiative taken by the school on this contemporary issue of de-stressing them. The response of the parents was indeed overwhelming. The Principal Rev.Sr.Silvi appreciated the resource person and told the parents about the importance of good parenting to make their children good human beings.The session concluded with the words of gratitude to the esteemed Director Rev. Fr. John and the Principal Rev. Sr.Silvithanking them for this novel endeavor.
