Ludhiana, September 5 (CHARHAT PUNJAB DI )-Lok Sabha MP from Ludhiana Mr. Ravneet Singh Bittu today slammed the Shiromani Akali Dal and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for issuing irrational statements just to hog media limelight.
Interacting with the media persons after reviewing arrangements for Chapar Mela today, the MP said that both these parties have baffled due to unprecedented works done by the Captain Amarinder Singh led Congress government in past few months. He said that both these parties were bereft of any concrete agenda against the state government due to which they were issuing irrational statements against it. Mr. Bittu said that instead of criticizing the government for the sake of criticism both these parties must allow the state government to perform for the well being of the people.
The MP assailed both these parties for creating hindrances in smooth functioning of the state government, which he said was totally undemocratic. He said that the attempt of AAP leadership to gehrao Chief Minister’s residence was nothing more than a cheap political gimmick to get media attention. Likewise, Mr. Bittu said that the Akali leadership was also issuing baseless statements just to mark their presence in political arena of the state.
The MP said that the wise people of state were well aware of the dubious character of both these parties due to which they have badly rejected them in the recently concluded polls for state assembly. On the occasion he said that the Congress party would hold a massive conference on the occasion of Chapar mela. Mr. Bittu said that this rally would be attended by the Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and his other Cabinet colleagues.
The MP was accompanied by MLA Mr. Kuldeep Singh Vaid, former MLAs Mr. Malkiat Singh Dakha and Mr. Gurdeep Singh Bhaini.
